Japan-Made Hand-Dyed Sweatshirt (Cool Tones)

Using an original dyeing technique we developed—capturing the moment when powdered dye bursts and bleeds across the fabric—combined with partial discharge, this work reinterprets kitenge, a traditional Kenyan textile.
After numerous trials inspired by kitenge, this final expression emerges as a dreamlike piece that seems to draw out the wearer’s inner landscape and emotions.
